Toy Gadgets: MUJI & LEGO Papercraft
The Japanese retail brand MUJI and LEGO teamed up to develop a collaborative toy project in Japan that cleverly merges the personality of each brand. There are 4 sets available, each with some bricks from Lego and some sheets of colored paper and stencils from Muji. A special hole punch that matches the size of the pins on the Lego bricks can be used to create dimensional characters with the paper cutouts. This product is available November 27th at MUJI Japan for 2,300 yen (US$26) a box. Continue Reading »
Cool Tech Gadgets: Battery-Free Remote
NEC Electronics and SoundPower Corp has announced the collaboration project to co-developed a new remote control prototype that intends to get rid of battery requirement targeted for digital home. This design concept uses the vibrations of your fingers by pushing the buttons. The prototype is ready now and is currently being showcased during the Embedded Technology 2009 event in Yokohama city.
